Is used for oxidation of water in a aquaculture – fish farming water. The pumped-up water is led through an outlet hopper, beyond the drum in its full width. The water speed makes the drum rotate
The drum is suspended, so it can easily be adjusted vertically and horizontally, in proportion to the outlet hopper. The drum is made of stainless steel and the surface is coated with perforated sheet iron.
When drum and water meet, ripples in the surface of the water increases substantially. Hereby the surface of contact between the water and the air multiplies.
The same applies to the quantity of absorbed oxygen in the water.
