Inlet drum

The inlet drum is placed in the entrance to the fish farm

The inlet drum is placed in the entrance to the fish farm and operates by letting the water run through the outer side of the barrel, which consists of perforated sheet iron. These perforations vary from 1 to 6 millimeter opening.

The rotating barrel secures clean water intake and prevents weed and other unwanted materials, from entering into the fish farm.

In instances where 1 millimeter openings are necessary (streams with houting fish), an air distributor hose, together with a fan, should be mounted, as it is necessary to keep the barrel clean with air.

The barrel of the inlet drum is produced in stainless steel (AISI 304) and functions as a grating, with openings fitted the individual assignment.

The size of the inlet drum is being adapted to special conditions, including quantity of water and existing structures.
